Workshops

Pinterest employee Amy, sharing the story she created during a workshop ran by Lakkari.

Lakkari has many years of experience in facilitating art workshops with a focus on the symbolism passed down to her from her Family, Elders and Kinship systems.

These workshops are tailored for small to medium groups of up to 40 people. Each workshop is unique and aims to:

  • Educate

  • Promote understanding

  • Appreciate symbolism in Aboriginal art, specifically Lakkari's art.

Groups who may be interested in these workshops include yet are not limited to school groups, education institutes, organisations and businesses.

Workshops are open to Indigenous and non-Indigenous people. It is important to note that these workshops allow non-Indigenous people to participate in, learn and appreciate Aboriginal symbolism and art forms. It is not appropriate for non-Indigenous people to create or sell Aboriginal art outside of these workshops in any context.
